Good to see that next year's new Rye 10 race will be one of the races in the Sussex Grand Prix. Could be two Nice Work races on the list if a course inspection next week goes to plan!

Sounds good, would be cool to have a new fixture on the calendar. Anyone else heard about this one? I'm not even sure if it means it is a 10k or 10 mile? |

2 new races and a few date changes
The Brighton half has been voted out again and I do not think it will be on the calendar in the future, most reps think the race is too big...

The SGP commitee was looking for one 10 mile race to balance the calendar: Rye 10M seemed suitable
This race is organised by Nice Work.
They are also organising a Mid Sussex Marathon Weekend
The Mid Sussex Marathon Weekend May 2012
Location: East Grinstead, Haywards Heath (SGP race) and Burgess Hill
Date: Saturday 5th May 2012 to Monday 7th May 2012
Time: 10.30 am each day
The first Go Mid Sussex Marathon Weekend sees three different races on three days over the Bank Holiday weekend. The three races combined add up to 26.2 miles - the classic marathon distance
Apparently this is event has been organised as a Olympic challenge... only the Haywards Heath race has been accepted by the SGP ...
