Tomorrow is my last day of commuting-itis!! My train gets in somewhere between 7.40 and 8.20.. so I won't make the run but I will go at lunch time so I can still deserve a reward! AND I wont have to wake up at 5.45 the next morning so expect me to be excessively (annoyingly?) cheery! What time are you meeting? _________________ Train-Procrastinate-Blog (Repeat).

Good night at the Open House - I had missed the code that only men with the name of Andy (or Andrew) could attend! Obviously Paul did too
If your name is Andy or Andrew and you weren't there - you missed out.
Thanks for a good night (and a lift home, Paul) - next one - August 26 - Location and name of male attendees to be confirmed nearer the time. |

It was a fun night and we did manage to cover topics other than triathlons (for some of the time).
I wonder how many Andrews there are in total in the club
I can't make the next one as I'll be on holiday in Ibiza! See you at the one in September!! |

I seem to remember a lot of talk about channel swimming, and eating lots to do so. Selective hearing perhaps? _________________ in the end everything will be fine. if it's not, it's not the end!

Thanks for a fun night - a different conversational focus from my usual pub nights (of which admittedly there aren't many these days). Put me right off the idea of a channel swim.
Looking forward to the next one. How about a beach barbecue? Nights will be getting shorter then, but should still be warm. Could have a pub backup plan?

Ananda's suggestion of 'The Brunswick' would work well as a beach BBQ back up. _________________ in the end everything will be fine. if it's not, it's not the end!

God I'm such a nerd!
There are eight Andrews (Haig, Neighbour, Bone, Triggs, Seivewright, Field, George, Fozard), closely followed by seven Davids since you ask. The best the women can do is three each of five different names.
As we're on this theme I can count eight current or ex graphic designers/illustrators (including our illustrious chairman and our even more illustrious founder Steve Ovett) but I suspect that can be matched by IT people or NHS employees. Disturbingly, two of the graphic designers are called Andrew. |
